• The new Felbat mount! Posted by 4 years ago. My guess is that's the new Glory of the mount. Looks really cool.
• Let's see, alliance get yet another hippogryph just with some fancy-schmancy armor, while we horde get a #$%^&in' felbat mount, something the until this goes live is exclusive to demon hunters, yes, i know of the antoran charhound and gloomhound, but those are considered sargeras' hounds and have horned skulls for heads, and i know of the fiend mounts, hell i not only own all four, but i refer.

Objectives

The Orphaned Felbat is an interesting lil guy from the Legion expansion. He has a few interesting abilities for a flyer that could make for some troubling situations for those that battle against you in pvp. Paralyzing Venom is one of his fun abilities that keeps control over the battlefield. Very helpful to. The location of this NPC is unknown. This NPC is the objective of The Hunt. In the NPCs category. Added in World of Warcraft: Legion. Always up to date.

Grab a felbat from Illidari Whitemoon and fly up to the Fel Hammer.

Notes

On accept, Kayn and Altruis run out of the Vault of the Betrayer, despawning shortly after re-entering the Tomb of the Penitent.

Head up the western ramp, where Lyana Darksorrow, Cassiel Nightthorn, Marius Felbane, and several Freed Illidari are holding off waves of Legion forces. Upon running past them:

Lyana Darksorrow says: Hold the line, demon hunters. We fight in Lord Illidan's name!

Marius Felbane says: Stand firm. Do not let them break through!

Near the top of the ramp is an inquisitorvignette named Kethrazor, whom you can optionally kill for his [Inquisitor's Glowering Eye]. Continue along the path until you reach the elevator platform, where Jace Darkweaver is waiting with a captured Vampiric Felbat along with a couple more Freed Illidari.

Jace Darkweaver says: Kayn and Altruis have already gone ahead. Take this felbat and join them.

Jace has some dialogue about the felbat:

These beasts are quite feisty, unless you know how to deal with them. This one should listen to your commands... for a little while, at least.

Interact with the felbat to mount it and automatically ascend through the Fallen Passage. During the ride, Bastillax chimes in again:

Bastillax says: Your persistence is admirable, but my demons have infiltrated every floor of the Vault. Only death awaits you.

The felbat drops you off at the entrance to the Demon Ward, where Allari, Kor'vas, and Falara are waiting.

Kor'vas Bloodthorn says: This is sheer madness! The Wardens have lost control of their prison.

Talk to Kor'vas to turn in.
